SHE; a project to promote her ( women) technicianal skills and empowering them in engineering education will be launched by the government of Kerala. This initiative by Kerala government is being launched with the idea of empowering and encouraging women to actively enroll in enginenrring educational courses.
“ There is a need to increase the number of womenin technical and engineering jobs and SHE aims to do it,” quotes R.Bindhu, Higher Education Minister. The pilot project was implemented in a college in Kannur , after the success of which the ministry has planned to implement this project state-wide. SHE’s aim is to create professionally successful and personally-fulfilled women in engineering sectors.
