How would you describe your journey? Brief us on the inception story of your career.

Life, in its unpredictable wisdom, thrust me onto a path I didn’t plan on walking. It was my own encounter with daunting health challenges that led me to explore the dynamic interplay between neuroscience, emotional wellbeing, nutrition, and the healing arts. Through this exploration, I not only rebuilt my own health but also discovered a calling – a way to help high-performing women, like you, grapple with a gnawing sense of not-enoughness, a constant echo of not-belonging, even in the midst of success.

In life, we often find ourselves at the junction of unexpected paths. I chose to follow a trail that most couldn’t piece together, one that led me to the intriguing depths of Neuropsychoideology, the philosophical wisdom of yoga, and the holistic integration of nutrition. People often looked at me, puzzled, asking, “Why this diverse, seemingly disconnected path?” To be honest, I didn’t have a ready answer, but I was led by an innate pull toward holistic wellness.

Then, in 2011, my world was rocked. I lost my younger brother, and the intense wave of grief threatened to pull me under. The physical toll of that emotional pain was so potent that, a mere eight months later, I suffered a stroke. Suddenly, I found myself fighting for survival, grappling with mortality.

Yet, through this turmoil, I found grace. The grace of second chances, the grace of new perspectives. Miraculously, I survived. More than that, I emerged with an even more profound commitment to this path I had been walking.

I realized that, just as I had navigated my own healing journey, I was meant to serve as a guide for others. To help them process and release their deeply buried traumas and stresses. To journey with them towards the freedom that comes when we face our pain, embrace our healing, and step into the fullest expression of our lives.

So here I am, on the other side of grief and illness, armed with a blend of neuroscience, emotional wellbeing, nutrition, and healing arts. Ready to support you on your path, just as I navigated mine, and ready to connect those dots in ways that can truly transform your life.

Enlighten us about your role in the organization you are leading / associated with?

As the founder of the Whole Life Healing Coach™ and Whole Life Healing Centers, I’ve dedicated myself to creating a brave space. A space where you can show up, lean into your vulnerabilities, challenge your fears, and find your path to whole-hearted living.  While this is not a journey for the faint of heart – we begin right where you are so you can become exactly who you were created to be.

Where do you find inspiration? What motivates you to work harder?

The men and women I serve, women and men like you, are the wellspring of my inspiration. Your willingness to step into the arena, even when it feels uncomfortable, motivates me. It fuels me to continue expanding this community where transformation isn’t just a promise, but a lived reality.

Working with high level thinkers, many often feel ‘lonely at the top’ and their belief of ‘I am never enough’ prevents them from seeking support; often because they don’t think anyone else feels that way.

My highest goal is to expand into the world in my own vulnerability, creating WLHCoach’s™ to change billions of lives, one person at a time.

Kindly mention some of the notable recognitions and accreditations received by your person.

Recognition has come in many forms – speaking engagements, podcast appearances, television features, Women Leaders to Look Up to for 2022 – and each one has its own value. But nothing compares to the honor of witnessing a person reclaim their worthiness, their place in the world, and their sense of self.

What is the one thing you wish you had known about women in your line of work before you started working?

I wish I had known just how universal the feeling of inadequacy can be, even among the most outwardly successful women. This knowledge now guides my work, deepening my commitment to help every woman embrace her inherent worthiness.

Delving deeper into the intricate landscape of human experience, my hope is to shed light on the profound impact of trauma of which I did not previously know. The ripples of its presence extend far beyond the individual, touching the lives of those we hold dear. When we grapple with trauma, whether it’s a single event or an accumulation of high-stress experiences, our capacity to tap into the brilliance of our prefrontal cortex becomes impaired – this is not conjecture, it’s science.

Had I known earlier that it’s possible to uproot trauma without reliving the pain, without casting judgment upon ourselves, I might have journeyed differently. But now I understand, and I share this wisdom with you: Trauma healing is not only about revisiting the past; it’s about nurturing your present and reshaping your future.

One of the most liberating revelations of this journey has been understanding that our genetics aren’t set in stone. Yes, they provide a blueprint, but they don’t dictate our destiny. What often binds us are not our genes but our fixed mindsets. However, here’s the beautiful part: our mindsets can change. They can evolve, adapt, and shift towards more nurturing and empowering beliefs. Through the process of transformation and healing, we can shift from a place of pain to one of boundless potential.

Do you believe it is compulsory for a woman to manage a household alongside her work?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer here. Each woman must chart her own path, striking a balance that feels true for her. The choice belongs to you, not to societal norms or expectations.

As a woman, what has been the highlight of your career? What are the changes you wish to make for the better in your professional life post-pandemic?

The zenith of my professional journey is not marked by accolades or achievements but by witnessing personal transformations unfold right before my eyes. It’s the moment when a woman steps forward from the dimly lit corners of self-doubt into the radiant glow of self-belief. That is the real measure of my work’s value.

To hear from someone, who has been scarred by war, endured shock therapy, and weathered two decades of psychotherapy, say, “In just six months, you’ve helped me more than all my previous treatments combined,” is humbling. It is moments like these that cement my conviction that this healing path is a journey much greater than myself.

In a world reshaped by the pandemic, my aspirations are to cast this transformative light even wider. I want to touch more lives, to instigate more metamorphoses.

My commitment to this purpose is unwavering. I continue to expand my toolbox, delve into new learning spaces. My repertoire now includes techniques like Brainspotting, and I have been certified in trauma coaching from the Arizona Trauma Institute, and now will undertake Bessel VanDerKolk’s Trauma course. My journey is a continuous process of learning and growing, all in service of nurturing transformations.

Brief us on the changes the pandemic brought to your sector and your market. Has the work-culture altered?

The pandemic has irreversibly shifted our lives into a digital age, but the essence of our work remains unchanged. We remain steadfast in our commitment to provide a sanctuary; a compassionate and safe space for introspection and for bravely facing internal turmoil, irrespective of your geographical coordinates.

The pandemic has unmasked another facet of trauma, one that shakes the very foundation of our existence. This ‘existential trauma’ has reignited my passion, fueling my resolve to bring healing. My vision is simple – ‘heal one to heal all.’

I truly believe that a ripple effect can be created, where inner peace and love within one individual can influence the outer world, shaping a reality that mirrors these values. It is this potential for transformation that I want to tap into, extending an invitation to those willing to embark on this transformative journey.

What words of wisdom/ inspiration/ advice would you offer to the next generation of female leaders?

Embrace the courage to show up, to be seen, and to live authentically. It’s okay, it’s human, to feel vulnerable, and there’s no shame in asking for help. Remember, true leadership stems not only from accomplishments but from personal growth and the authenticity with which you live your life.

If you are looking for support, or desire to take the WLHCoach™ certification program to up level your life, heal your past and encourage others whom you influence.  We are ready for you!  www.wlhcoach.com

  • Layal El Radi

    Layal El Radi

How would you describe your journey? Brief us on the inception story of your career.

No two days are alike. I work on different subjects every day. In the morning I may be visiting locations for an event, in the afternoon organizing a photo shoot. I work every day on different projects and in different sectors.

Enlighten us about your role in the organisation you are leading / associated with?

Today I’ve set up my own company: Cube Maggik, in reference to the ‘Cube maggi’, the essential ingredient used to add flavor to dishes. The name fits well with my company, which diversifies into several sectors and whose missions vary according to each customer. I work on a daily basis with a team of people on the big projects where I can’t be on my own, and I also have 2 interns who support me on the business and communication side.

Where do you find inspiration? What motivates you to work harder?

My inspiration comes from the projects I work on and the people I collaborate with. I’m lucky at my young age (although I don’t like to talk about luck, but rather about hard work) to be able to do a job that I love and, above all, to be 100% independent. This is what motivate me to work harder: freedom and independence.

Kindly mention some of the notable recognitions and accreditations received by your person.

I’ve always received letters of recommendation at the end of my internships or projects. The people I work with trust me and support me on a daily basis. That’s what makes me so strong and enables me to stand out from the crowd in this highly competitive sector.

What is the one thing you wish you had known about women in your line of work before you started working?

It’s not an easy job. As I said above, events and fashion is a very competitive business. Companies are looking for more men, so it’s hard for women to make their mark.

Do you believe it is compulsory for a woman to manage a household alongside her work?

Nothing is mandatory. A woman does what she can and what she wants.

As a woman, what has been the highlight of you career? What are the changes you wish to make for the better in your professional life post-pandemic?

Working from home is something that has marked my career. Indeed, since the pandemic, customers and companies have noticed that it’s possible to work remotely, so I’ve found it easy to get contracts with people based in both the USA and Australia.

Brief us on the changes the pandemic brought to your sector and your market. Has the work-culture altered?

Yes, of course, as I said earlier, it has made it easier to work with customers who were thought to be inaccessible because of the distance. I’ve been able to work with people all over the world and, above all, at my own pace. I don’t have to answer to anyone and can organize my schedule as I see fit, and that’s a luxury.

What words of wisdom/ inspiration/ advice would you offer to the next generation of female leaders?

The future is ours. Our generation is doing everything it can to ensure that women have their place in society, so seize every opportunity you can and fight to get where you want to be.

  • Muniba Mazari – Interview

    Muniba Mazari – Interview

Brilliant & Brave, Muniba is the kind of role model. Muniba Mazari is first Goodwill Ambassador for UN-women Pakistan, a content writer, an artist, a speaker, a model, an anchor person, a TV show host and a mother of a beautiful son. A multifaceted personality like her deeply believes that we all are sent to earth with a mission to fulfill. She was born on 3rd March but her life took a U-turn on February 27th, the date which she says mark her rebirth.

Her life incident involve, she surviving a traumatic car accident which she narrates and says that it broke her physically but it transformed her soul and gave a new way to her life . In all the nothingness and pain she found a reason to live and that reason determined her path in life. To her the reason is connecting with those who are in the dire need of love and light and where her journey of pain helps her as it connects her with the people on human level. So her life journey began after the incident. Rightly said by Mark Twain: “the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why?!”It totally applies to her life.

With all her power woman on wheelchair says, Do Not Give Up!

Herself been a survivor, when asked about the mission of life, she beautifully replied that she wants to remind the world everyday to “Do Not Give Up!” No matter how cliché it might sound but that’s the only advice she has to give and the essence of the statement multifold when it comes from a woman who happens to be in the wheelchair for last 12 years, a woman whose body is half fractured and half paralyzed, a woman who adopted a child when she was told she could never have a child of her own, a woman who was scared of facing people and became a public speaker, a woman who was told that she won’t be able to paint and today she’s an artist and lastly it’s coming from a woman who has admitted that she’s perfectly imperfect and that’s perfectly alright. So, despite all the challenges that life has thrown towards her, if she can be who she always wanted to be, so can we! Her story reminds of a beautiful Bengali song written by Rabindranath Tagore which utters: “Jodi tor dak shune keu na ashe tobe ekla cholo re, Ekla Chalo Re” which when translated in English means, If there is no-one responding to your call – then Go On All Alone.

Drive for Humanity and it’s the Drive for Equality

An initiative which is very close to her heart is that’s of Food Drive. It all started with a DRIVE, literally to do something worthwhile for those who are neglected. Just on a whim, a couple of friends decided to do something to feed their souls by feeding a few – thus Food Drive was born! Since then the Food Drive never stopped. The biggest challenge was to include / accept food from transgender community. They tried their best to change the mindset and they wanted people to sit down and have a meal with everyone without any gender / religion based discrimination. With a diverse team (which includes men, women and transgender) that they have, the Food Drive shows that this nation has a lot to offer in terms of love, respect, tolerance and hope. They know how to share, how to give and how to receive with gratitude! It’s not just The Food Drive, it’s the Drive for Humanity and it’s the Drive for Equality.

    Her Son, Her biggest Achievement

Muniba is the first Goodwill Ambassador for UN-women Pakistan. She has been awarded with the “Go Excellence Trainer Certificate” by “Canada Global Consulting & Training Centre Ltd. (CGC)” in December, 2017. She has been presented with “The Humanitarian Prize” by “The Karic Brothers Award 2017” in Belgrade, Serbia. She is Forbes 30 under 30 for 2016 in Media and Marketing Category. She is BBC’s Top 100 Women for 2015. She is named in the list of “The World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims 2020” (The Muslim 500), She is a Panelist for the high-level event on “Women in Power” at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), New York, USA in March, 2019. She gave a Motivational Speech to the people of Nicosia, Cyprus in the event “Repaint Your Life” and a Motivational Speech at Doha International Conference on Disability and Development (DICDD) by the Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW) in Doha, Qatar and list is long but apart from other professional achievements she loved to add one more achievement and that she is blessed to have an amazing nine years old son. Even-though she was told that she won’t be able to be a mother because of spinal cord injury, she chose to adopt him and that was the best decision that she ever took. She didn’t give him the gift of life; life gave her the gift of him. So inspiring!

The first step is always the hardest but also the bravest.

We live in a world which tends to celebrate sameness & which unfortunately doesn’t shy away from labeling people. They call her disabled she calls herself differently-abled. They call her wheelchair her weakness and she calls it her strength. They see her disability, she sees her ability. But she is not the only woman who faces these labels. There are many like her all around the world who now have learnt to overcome their fears, they also have learnt to stand tall and to appreciate what has happened to them but they do want from those who are in the power to implement the laws of accessibility all around the world. They want them to ensure that nobody is left behind. Because disability is not in humans’ body, it’s in the environment, you make it accessible for people and you’ll see so many differently-abled women shining all around the globe. She was told that if she wants to achieve something in life it won’t be easy because she is a woman in a wheelchair. There’s neither accessibility nor acceptability. She will be labeled and judged at every step. She said she knows she might be the first one but she wouldn’t be the last. She will take the first step in her chair and the rest will follow! Today the world proudly looks at her and calls her an inspiration.

Her journey as a public speaker

Where we see these worldly borders separating us from one another; our words have the power to heal those who need the healing and it’s our responsibility to reach out those who want to be seen and helped. When Muniba became a public speaker she realized the power of words. Through her words, her art, her philanthropic work (Food Drives) and her television programmes, she has always aimed to spread the message of hope, kindness, resilience and humanity. She shares her story of gratitude and survival, she shares how your inner power can help us overcoming obstacles and fears, she tells the world that how our inner light can spread so much positivity & last but not least she reminds people that in their down moments they are not alone and that she truly feels what one feel!

    Never say Never

Muniba’s story herself is a motivation for the world, when asked her how she being such an inspiration keeps her motivated, she replied motivation dies everyday so one has to nurture it. Those who motivate others are at times in the dire need of motivation. So, she looks at herself in the mirror everyday and reminds herself that she don’t know how her story will end but nowhere in her text people will ever read that she gave up!

Kindness is free, Sprinkle it everywhere

Muniba’s message for nation is full of kindness. She says, in a world where you can be anything, be kind! We all belong to just one race and that’s the Human Race! Let’s wholeheartedly accept this wonderful message coming from a person whose story is touching the strings of the heart.

    Her insight in future

She sees herself doing exactly what she is doing right now but she doesn’t see herself alone in this journey. She sees many people like her lighting the candles of hope, courage, empathy and kindness around the world!

Hey! You, the survivor and inspirer, we wish all the good and every success.

His first book, Think Like a Monk

The book debuted at #1 on the New York Times, #1 on the Sunday Times and was named “Unputdownable” by Amazon where it held the #1 spot worldwide. In this inspiring, empowering book, Shetty draws on his time as a monk in the Vedic tradition to show us how we can clear the roadblocks to our potential and power. Drawing on ancient wisdom and his own rich experiences in the ashram, “Think Like a Monk” reveals how to overcome negative thoughts and habits, and access the calm and purpose that lie within all of us.The lessons monks learn are profound but often abstract. This young man has a way of explaining things in a simple way so that it seems like it is all common sense. The book has tips on combating negativity (think of 10 positives for every 1 negative), putting your fear in perspective (on a scale of 1-10, what’s the worst thing that could happen to you? Now where does this fear land?), practicing your breathing and the importance of gratitude.

Shetty transforms them into advice and exercises we can all apply to reduce stress, improve focus, improve relationships, identify our hidden abilities, increase self-discipline and give the gifts we find in ourselves to the world. Shetty proves that everyone can – and should – think like a monk.

Although you do not necessarily need a formal education to become an author, you do need to have certain skills in order to be successful. Before you attempt to write or publish your first book, you need to make sure these skills are in place. To build these skills, you may choose to enrol in a formal training program, like my How to Write a Book and Become a Published Author program, or simply practice on your own.

In September 2020, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Amazon named the book on their bestseller lists

  • Ayush Keshri – Interview

    Ayush Keshri – Interview

Starting a company is a dream that many have, but not all get to making it into reality with their heart and soul.  The journey of Human Library Cafe wasn’t easy and neither was the journey a cakewalk, but if it was one certain thing through and through, it was rewarding! We have immense gratitude in our hearts for all our family members of HLC. The curtain rose and set many a times, but the larger play that we were a part of, played on! It all started with a very palpable and clear vision, and I questioned myself every moment to chisel the exact core values and ambitions that would drive the society as well as my company.

When I was a child basically a teenager I was more focused to help people, young children ,slum people and I realized that they lack in basic capacities and spaces where they can be motivated to go for studies and therefore I started YOUNG ASSOCIATION ,there were lot of challenges forming this and first one was to make a team of same welfare mindset, then motivating the parents of the children ,that time we were also not getting any government fund nor any financial support, the children were not having any idea how and what to study ,student of class 5 were not even knowing the alphabets properly, we motivated them for studies and extra-curricular activities. As a teenager I was having lot of obstacles in my life, but overcome all with a sweet smile because I was always having a mindset to prove myself better from others and I realized whenever you want to do something great in your life because a lot of people will be snatching you from back, will be demotivating, or would disrupt. I remember when we started going to government schools, they were not allowing us to teach because they understood that we were aware that nothing is done from their end because of all these reasons they were disliking us. This was a situation of balancing the two different boats at the same time, which means a situation where we need to make the venture by earning profit and bilaterally do the social cause and we assured that students don’t pay for the sessions, our motto was that revenue should come from the management of the schools and participants i.e, students should not pay a single peny. Overcoming all these hindrances I managed with my team.

It was an ambiguous situation for me when I did my intermediate as I was preparing for IIT and was having a goal to become an engineer, but was very clear if I clear IIT then only I will go for that otherwise wont. Unfortunately, I couldn’t crack, was totally a vague situation, by luckily, I choose something in which I was very good since my school times. I was a good orator, was having a great interest in it.I choose a course of Journalism thinking I would get an opportunity to speak in TV, radios etc. I pursued it from DU. Slowly and gradually I realized when you join any industry you will not get the chance to directly become the supreme same, I was not getting chance to do the anchoring but at the same time I was a part of Young Association and that influenced me more to work with children, so my whole picture was to help them.

Here comes the next stair of my life, when I shifted Varanasi for my masters. My whole NGO work was in Delhi and I shifted to Varanasi I got some couple of time to think upon myself, What actually I am doing????Who am I ??????What I want to do? And that was the time I focused on myself ,I started writing poetries, doing stage shows, by time passes I started interviewing people and fortunately got golden opportunities to interview lot of eminent personalities like CNR RAO, the Bharat Ratna Awardee, Javed Akhtar, Kailash Kher, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Pandit Hariprasad Chourasia, hundred big personalities from Padma Shri to Padma Vibhushan to Bharat Ratna and that became the changing face of my life. Interaction with them, actually made me believe in myself and my idea of Human Library Cafe thinking if my life and perception has been changed after interacting with people obviously it will also change the mindset of those people who are vague with their perspective and career HLC is a sequestered where books have the power to speak, motivate, make you feel relaxed, and even have a galla time. A place where we can converge personalities, where we can talk, sing, learn or dance. It is a cafe were a cup of coffee is offered with a bowl of crispy moments. A place for the people who are not vague about their future goals. HLC was served over 100000 children  as of now. We established our first cafe in 2021 in Varanasi where we had human books and were able to compile several arena like, education, acting, dramatics, sports. HLC has been awardee with BEST SOCIAL IMPACT VENTURE under BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE,I personally have been awarded by Rabindranath Tagaore for Rural Development work which I did in Bihar under Young Association. HLC have been featured in EDU Times, Daily Hunts.

I live on the principle that how you respond to your team and things, make a great difference. I believe in meeting my mates time and back and pushing text to give the expression that they are valued, trusted, and always attended above everything. I always believe in thinking out of the box, same do my team mates. The key knot I tied is ‘come what may ,we don’t have to leave any stone unturned’, society is our first shelter , if that will not be filthy ,our homes to won’t. It should always be ‘WE’ not every time ‘I’ Adding fuel to the fire for the budding entreprenuers make Consistency ,perserverance and innovations your major pillars and just follow 3H’s in your life i.e, Hardwork, Humanity, Honesty and reach the highest peak of success when you think of everyone ,almighty thinks silently about you and that is more fruitful.

  • Camelia Gherbi – Interview

    Camelia Gherbi – Interview

How would you describe your journey? Brief us on the inception story of your career.

After completing my degree in Vatel Madrid , a Hotel & Tourism Business School is one of the top universities in this sector , I started my career in hotels management , One highlight of my first position was achieving the flexibility to fit in all kinds of roles , from reception, to Food and beverage , Housekeeping, Marketing , Sales and events that helped me build this skill of adaptation and going out from my comfort zone.

Since moving from city to city and country to country I’ve held positions in Sales , PR , Events , Real Estate, Education, Consulting  I’ve been really driven to improve the abilities to not stay in a “box” , a “sector” a “path and inspired to touch several fields and positions.

In terms of next steps , I’ve came back to Spain from three years in Cairo , Egypt after receiving a nice offer. I’m very motivated by sharing cultures , representing values and spreading joy.

Enlighten us about your role in the organisation you are leading / associated with?

I’m head of business expansion for middle East,North Africa and Israel for a Spanish company, I’m responsible of research and identify new business opportunities in the region including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services.

What motivates you to work harder?

There is nothing more fulfilling for me as a young Arab girl ,that will have 30 next week , that’s been living alone since 18years old and being abroad since then and far from my family than knowing that what we contribute in this world makes a significant difference. There are many careers that provide us with the money we desire but that also may come along with a ton of unrewarding stress. Ultimately, we spend the majority of our time In our lives at work so we may as well find a way to make our career meaningful for ourselves and others. The greatest gift of working in careers which give back to our communities is the way it changes and impact our own lives. When we see that what we contribute makes a difference, it makes our careers and our purpose feel that much more rewarding. When we are inspired we are more motivated to get back to the grind each new day.

    My biggest achievement?

Generally, the common notion among aspiring entrepreneurs is that the best time to kickstart your business is when you are in your early 20s. However, this myth seems to have created a lot of pressure on young and hardworking would-be entrepreneurs , I couldn’t have the luxury of dedicating myself 100% to it , to being a project Manager in Cairo , and having a good salary, I wanted to invest in on of the 10000 ideas that were on my journal.

After going through the whole process of creating a little food truck , selling waffles , crepes , Greek donuts , cookies ….and more

It was key for me to start while I was Still employed and investing my money wisely.

What is the one thing you wish you had known about women in your line of work before you started working?

I wish I knew that you don’t HAVE to follow a certain path , sector , working in what you studied , live take you on a journey of unless opportunities, All women who are starting to work should learn to see work as a service opportunity.  It is of great satisfaction and motivation to know that people appreciate and value our work.  Always stay positive and make every day a new opportunity to shine. Make an effort to inspire others and to be remembered by your integrity and ethical behaviors .

Do you believe it is compulsory for a woman to manage a household alongside her work?

As a woman, that has been married at 22 , and always followed up my career it’s not Compulsory , the household is the obligation of All the members that lives under that roof ,  Women are changing the game in every industry.  If we feel empowered and supported at home , with our partner and family the sky’s the limit.

As a woman, what has been the highlight of you career? What are the changes you wish to make for the better in your professional life post-pandemic?

The highlight of my career was learning 5 languages perfectly something that opened for me doors that I never thought about, and creating step by step my food truck while working, and developing it , until receiving a good offer from an investor to sell it . What I’ve learned in that journey is the highlight of my career and personal growth, We always reward boys for following their passions without fear; we train girls to play it safe and follow the rules specially in my culture, so I’m happy that I didn’t let anyone define who I am despite The religion and the culture and what I can do or don’t

Embrace the opportunities that take you out of your comfort zone and learn from them. That is key.

Post-pandemic career wise I want to remember The power of networking. I wish I had appreciated this much earlier in my career. Networking gives you permission to reach outside your comfort zone safely. It speaks to a growth mindset, which is important to cultivate on your leadership journey. And it’s something that we forgot since the pandemic. There is a saying: “It’s not what you know, it’s who knows what you know.”

Brief us on the changes the pandemic brought to your sector and your market. Has the work-culture altered?

One of the best decisions I took is not to stay in one sector , Tourism and Hotels industry is one of the sectors that was very touched by the pandemic, so I’m grateful that I could juggle positions and jobs .

What words of wisdom/ inspiration/ advice would you offer to the next generation of female leaders?

Well I’m still considering myself as “next generation “ but few advices :

    • Practice resilience
    • Discipline
    • Have humility
    • Play to your strengths (not your weaknesses)
    • Be of service to others
    • Take risks
    • Find mentors
    • Don’t compare yourself to others (Instagram in killing this )
    • Demonstrate strength with grace and kindness always

Even though women are vaulting to leadership spaces, our communities remain obstinately resistant to women in leadership roles, specially in our culture and countries . They too often perceive women as too delicate to lead. This trend, among many other deeply-seated and unconscious gender biases, force potential women leaders to withdraw into their shells,

Go for it , try , learn , fail , repeat , work , experience , No one has had the same experiences, relationships, upbringing, or career journey as you. And that means you have something effortlessly unique to bring to the table  even if it doesn’t feel like it all the time.

There’s opportunity everywhere if you know where to look. It helps if you know what your long-term career goals are, as you’ll be more likely to spot opportunities along the way that will help you get there.

Know that it will be a journey full of ups and downs, but the final destination is amazing

Like Kerry Washington said and that hit hard

“ You have to pray to catch the bus, run as fast as you can & then if you don’t get the bus, that was not your bus. You have to trust that another bus is coming, that was meant for you.”
