Sarah Colbon, Co-Founder of Njord by Bergman Design House, has over a decade of experience within the luxury superyacht industry.
Sarah Colbon has worked with some of the yachting industries most well known names, including Owners and their representatives, shipyards, designers, brokerage companies in sale and charter, yacht management companies and iconic superyachts themselves. Sarah’s experience in delivering strategies, protecting and managing reputations, project managing new concepts, showcasing major global campaigns and implementing specialist activities have had outstanding results in the Superyacht Industry.
With all her knowledge and expertise rolled into one, she Co-founded Njord by BergmanDesign House, a superyacht interior design studio, alongside Marie Soliman and Albin Berglund. Sarah’s role within the company is running the company with managing the business, client relations, project management and driving the brand forward.
Trusted by the yachting world’s most well-known names, she has worked with owners and their representatives, designers, shipyards, superyacht management and superyacht brokerage companies alike. Her work in strategy, delivery, reputation management, project management, client relations, building the business and the brand have seen unrivalled results.
It was this 360-degree industry experience that made Sarah the perfect partner for Bergman Design House founders Marie Soliman and Albin Berglund, as the group founded their joint venture, Njord by Bergman Design House.
The trio launched the superyacht interior architecture and design studio in 2020, where Sarah’s role spans operations, project management, client relations and building the brand.
As the yachting arm of London’s award-winning interior design studio Bergman Design House, Njord by Bergman Design House has refit the 56m Benetti Galaxy, converted 61m Cassius from a former commercial ship, and created new build 83m Eden using the highest levels of sustainable methods and technique. Along with her co-founders, Sarah is considered a true mover and shaker in the superyacht industry – inspiring and innovating the world of luxury as the studio pushes boundaries in floating hotel design. When Sarah isn’t moving and shaking the world designing superyachts, she mentors over 60 yachting business start-ups and regularly speaks at specialist yachting panels and events.
