Brief us about the inception of your career? What were your ambitions as a teenager?
When I was a teenager, we had more dreams than ambitions. If anything, our ambitions were then time-based, with almost no experience. Since I had no experience, the perception at the time was also something that would be hard to reconcile with today. In any case, even back then I dreamed of being a successful business leader, in a framework that is not in the least comparable to what I do today.
But, again, many of the things that broadened my horizons and made me who I am today happened much later than in my teenage years.
What are the aims and ideals that guide you as you run your organization?
The goals of the Global Chamber of Business Leaders are clear and written in the organization’s development strategy.
It’s all about that in this turbulent period, in the period of the Decade of Action, business leaders, governmental officials, and entrepreneurs from around the globe come together in this global marketplace to share knowledge, facilitate business collaboration and opportunity, and work together to be a part of the global solution in this new, disruptive business environment. Recognizing that innovative business models and best practices must unite with strategies of sustainability. It is our global mandate to govern, develop policy, and grow our businesses in a manner that makes a positive impact on the environment, society, and our global economy. This could happen under the auspices of the Global Chamber of Business Leaders as the umbrella global organization of global leaders.
As an innovative leader, how do you manage to inspire your team to innovate and think outside the box?
A good leader must first know his team to know how to inspire them. Only when you know the people with whom you spend most of your time, when you know how they think, feel and breathe, you also know how and what is the best way to motivate someone, so that they will give their best, even what they might he couldn’t even bring himself to give up.
In my opinion, it is necessary to show people first that you are also just a human being made of flesh and blood. It is necessary to create trust because all business success is based on trust, only then on cooperation, the pleasure that success brings, and finally, the reward for success.
What were challenges and obstacles you faced along the way?
There are no obstacles, there are only challenges from which experience comes. Otherwise, yes, there was a lot of everything, and it still is. Probably all of us are faced with constant and daily challenges in these times. But as said, challenges require solutions and looking for solutions can also be fun one day when you look back.
What sets your company apart from the rest of the market? Do you believe in diversifying?
The Global Chamber of Business Leaders is a unique organization of its type in the world, bearing its own fingerprint. At our core, we unite business and political leaders, CEOs and executives, entrepreneurs, investors and business and industry leaders who share a common vision: the sustainable well-being and growth of business in a disruptive and ever-evolving global economy.
At the Global Chamber of Business Leaders we prioritize activities that align with the UN-declared Decade of Action, promoting the importance of the inclusion of the Sustainable Development Goals in the business models of the future, allowing our partners, members, and participants to prepare their businesses to be vanguards of the future.
At the same time, I should emphasize that, despite all of the above, we stand for the values that unite us, such as: ethical doing business, transparency, solidarity, and above all, more dialogue and cross-border and global cooperation.
Kindly mention some of the notable recognitions and accreditations received by your person and organisation?
In my life, I have received many awards and recognitions, and I have also been published in many media from completely different parts of the world. I have also been published on the covers of newspapers quite a few times, even in some of the most prestigious ones. I have also received numerous state awards and honors for my past work. I also received the award for the most inspiring leader, the award for the most influential leader, the award for the most transformational leader, I was inducted into the book of greatness, etc. In short, quite a bit of everything has accumulated over the years, as already mentioned.
Where do you see your organisation in the years to come? How do plan to respond to the lows that followed the pandemic?
The Global Chamber of Business Leaders is experiencing continuous growth. I’m talking about growth in all areas, not just financial. We are strengthening our personnel, expanding the network, which already includes over 150 countries in the world, establishing new systems and subsystems from which some of the biggest events and initiatives in the world will develop in the coming years… In short, all roads lead to the goal, and the goals are to the Global Chamber of Business Leaders becomes the largest and umbrella organization of global leaders. We are working hard on this, and we intend to work on it until we reach this goal.
We are not worried about the pandemic, and we want it to end as soon as possible. In terms of business, the pandemic brought us a lot of bad things, but since we reacted quickly and wisely, I must admit that we also knew how to turn a lot of bad things into good things. In the end, we even succeeded, and today we stand here, stronger than ever
What is your advice to budding entrepreneurs who wish to kick start their careers?
I advise them not to expect success overnight, to realize that they have hard work ahead of them, sleepless nights full of worries, but also many unforgettable and beautiful moments. They should surround themselves with people with experience. To honest and non-greedy people. Let them become members of associations in which people work who are successful and are ready to share their experiences. They should operate globally, even if they start locally. They should realize that ambition is just as important as inner strength. If they launch themselves into the stars, they can still land successfully on the moon in the end, would be my advice.
